Wellness Through Art ONLINE

Welcome to Wellness Through Art ONLINE, where we welcome EVERYONE as an artist!

The intention of this event is to simply create space for people to make art together.

We will begin each session by sharing a different mindfulness technique or thought provoking activity for contemplation or inspiration. We will then open up the space for participants to be creative and make whatever art is calling to them in the moment.

Any simple art supplies you have around home will do. Whether that’s simply a paper and pencil, or any other materials you might have on hand.

Suggested supplies include, but are not limited to:

  • Drawing: Pencils (graphite/colored), Charcoal, Pastels, Markers, Ink Pens.
  • Painting:  Acrylics, watercolors, oil paints, paintbrushes.
  • Mixed Media: Collage materials (magazines, newspapers, tissue paper), clay, Fabric, buttons, beads, shells.
  • Crafting: Scissors, glue, embroidery thread, beading wire, ribbon and lace, decorative papers.
  • Surface options: Sketchbooks, canvas, watercolor paper, wooden panels, paper.
  • Additional Tools: Rulers, erasers, sharpeners, palette for mixing colors

This is a judgment free zone and we are all here to feel good through creating art and connecting with one another:)
