Understanding Stress and Anxiety

Join us for this interactive and engaging course where we deepen our understanding of stress, anxiety and the differences and similarities between the two. We will talk about the body’s stress response and consider why it might be helpful to us to understand what is happening in our bodies when we are stressed or anxious. We’ll learn practical tools and techniques for grounding and soothing our nervous system

This session is a bitesize taste of our larger 3 session course called “Confront the Discomfort” where we explore stress, anxiety, self-awareness and strategies to help us stay calm, cool and collected in the uncomfortable situations life throws our way.
