Finding Your Balance

When a loved one is struggling with a mental health concern, it can be challenging to keep our own sense of balance. This multi-week, online course (8 X 1.5 hours: 45 minutes of FYB, and 45 minutes of CC Group time)  will help caregivers build resilience, connection, and hope. This course is offered in person and run by two trained facilitators, whom have lived experience of supporting a loved one’s recovery journey.

This course is offered in conjunction with our Caregiver Connections: Family Peer Support program. The program is open to anyone who is providing care for a person with a mental illness or addiction.
With the support of trained peers with lived experience, parents and caregivers will learn how to best take care of themselves, ask for help when necessary and learn about the importance of boundaries. It is a safe place to gather together for shared stories, education, resources and support.
