When a loved one is struggling with a mental health concern, it can be challenging to keep our own sense of balance. This multi-week course (7 sessions X 1.5 hours) will help caregivers build resilience, connection, and hope. This course is offered at the CMHA Recovery College Center and is run by two trained facilitators, one of whom has a lived experience of supporting a loved one’s wellness journey through mental illness &/or addiction. This course is offered in conjunction with our Caregiver Connections: Family Peer Support program. The program is open to anyone who is providing care for a person with a mental illness or addiction.
